About Me
Hi! Many of you involved in Obedience and Agility in SA will already know me, but for those who do not here is my short introduction.
I have been trialling in obedience and agility since 2002 with my yellow Labrador, Porter (OC Cheyandor Nelson ADM JDM) who is an absolute joy to train and trial. I have also trialled my 'part-time' dog, Bob CD (Labradoodle X Bassett Hound - and yes, you did read those breeds correctly!) to his Novice title in 2005. I am currently training my 'borrowed' Australian Shepherd, Tazi (Waikikamukau Kaarmama) towards trialling in obedience too. Most of you will know Porter, who is sadly missing his first Agility Nationals in five years due to a leg injury.
I have always had an interest in photography, I love being able to 'capture the moment'. I started off back in the 'dark ages' with a very cheap, 110 film camera and since then have worked my way up to my current digital SLR which I bought in March 2006, specifically to be able to get good quality fast action photos and beautifully clear still shots. It hasn't let me down yet!
So far I have only covered agility and obedience trials, however hope to extend that to cover other areas in the future. I have had photos published in the SA Canine Association Journal on several occasions, and my photos also appear on the agility page of their website, plus the Agility SA and Agility Nationals SA webpages.
In addition to action shots and candids from outside the ring, I am always happy to do portraits of your dogs, if you see me at a trial just come up and ask!
